Bobby Connolly

Bobby Connolly, son of retired ophthalmologist Dr. W.E.S. Connolly, has been leading ACL Health Care Systems Inc. since the early 2010s. Dr. Connolly founded the company in 1983 when RAMQ announced the introduction of an electronic medical billing system, which would significantly speed up the payment process for doctors submitting claims electronically.
Recognizing the potential of this new system, Dr. Connolly encouraged his colleagues to subscribe to his service, laying the foundation for ACL's success in the healthcare industry.
In 2004, at the age of 19, Bobby Connolly joined the company and successfully led a project to migrate ACL's software to comply with RAMQ's new communication protocols. This ensured the company's continued operation and ability to serve its clients effectively.
In the late 2000s, Bobby made the strategic decision to reprogram ACL's entire software from Clipper/dBase to VB.NET, making it compatible with modern 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems. This move has been instrumental in the company's ability to adapt and thrive in the evolving healthcare technology landscape.
Under Bobby's leadership, ACL continues to provide cutting-edge solutions for doctor's office management and RAMQ billing, while also expanding its services to include software consultation and web/mobile development.
